When you're losing is there a way to lose that protects your points. For example if A player sees they are losing and decided to lose on time and not be mated or simply resign does that help them keep a few points even though they'll lose anyway?Or maybe I'm just running into too many sore losers.

The only way is to provoke your opponent (but subtly - so you appear not at fault). Then, if they write something abusive in the chat, you can report them and try to get them banned. It's a high risk strategy though. Wink
