KRAPARSOV

it looks like a very interesting position

I think 2 connected passed pawn should win the game.Jus t make advance on appropriately.

ViktorHNielsen

It ended 1-0. Probably a model game for white in the Berlin Endgame

TheRocketKing

carlsen kind of looks depressed at the press conference!

On the other hand, it looks like Naka has his draw secured, if he plays it right.

Standard Vancura position.

Caruana is prolly telling Naka "See? I can beat Magnus! Why can't you???"

Elubas

All credit to Caruana. He played a great game. Magnus seemed to just blunder Nxc7, but since he has otherwise godlike accuracy, that's not so bad.

Elubas

Hmm, I'm not sure about that.

Caruana played great yesterday...I certainly see him as a future contender. They are saying that Carlsen was ill, but no excuses should be given...This Tournament is heating up now. Carlsen would have lost mucho points for this lost...clearly he cannot win every game, and losses and draws costs points. I am still sure that he will be the first to reach 2900.

Thanks, Macer, for putting the game into visual form. Much easier to read than simple annotation. Smile
