Does anyone have a chess catch phrase they use, or a chess nickname they have been given?

There's a NM I like to tease by saying "when you don't know what to do, push a pawn!" It always gets him going in blitz: he crushes me quicker.

1.) Play chess as though u cant be defeated!  2.) play the position on the board not the opponent!

Often this effects the way you play, and stops u focusing on their rating of u, or your opponents. I see so often how someones rating can effect how we approach the game. I believe half the battle is either won or lost in your head/mind! maybe even more then half the battle. Here is some interesting quotes i found you might like to read.

Until you try, you don't know what you can't do. -Henry James-

Experience is the name men give to their mistakes. - Oscar Wilde -

The breakfast of champions is not cereal, it's the opposition. - Nick Seitz -

The one important thing i have learned over the years is the difference between taking one's work seriously and taking one's self seriously. The first is imperative and the second disastrous. - Margot Fonteyn -

This Applies's to our learning chess too as u noticed. Well i hope this was useful for you.
