Truly, I hate the way it looks now.  It'll be here to stay though.

What's the difference(s) between the "old" look and the "new" one?  I've been here for a few years and can't recall any major cosmetic changes

It was a big, dumb flap when they made some changes to both the look and some (what I consider) minor functionalities. This may be a good time to speculate on just how silly the inflamed anti-new system people feel now, especially if no one can really remember what it was changed from in the first place.
