I came across this wild position quite early in the opening.
The position at first does not appear to be so clear. I really wanted smash e4 through so that Bxh6 and Qh5+ and piecexf7 ideas were available to destroy black, but this is of course refuted by Qxd4+. I think the right decision is what happened in the game, but even now I am unsure what is best.
So other than Rxf5!? which clearly offers inviting compensation, i looked at the very direct g4, but i wasnt sure what the heck was going on.
Good stuff anyhow.
