like most people i like playing a good fair game win lose or draw its the only way you can tell how good you are. but a very large number of people on this site cheat because they cannot stand loseing a chess match.for this reason this will be my last year on chess .com i am not a great or even good player but for me you cannot beat over the board games.

I would expect at your rating level you encounter very few of these cheats.  Anyone who is not playing honestly will have a tendency to rise to the top of the player rankings here and as a result, you and I are unlikely to get matched up with them.

Generally, discussion of cheating is routed to this group so that the forums aren't innundated with it.  (Indeed, these threads tend to get locked fairly quickly).

I think it's more likely that the people who cheat will have 2500+ rating and they're the ones making the "I AM THE BEST CHESS PLAYER IN THE UNIVERSE U ALL SUCK" threads

Oddly, most of the "I AM THE BEST CHESS PLAYER IN THE UNIVERSE U ALL SUCK" threads come from mediocre players.

cheating is going on in most levels open your eyes im playing for a chess club and all the games are otb and im beating all levels of player but on chess .com keep hitting a wall where there is cheating going on
