Ok here is something that will make you think have you played chess with a deck of cards ?

It works like this if you draw King of a suit move your king.

Draw a Queen of a suit move it.

Jack of a suit is a bishop

ten of a suit is a knight

nine of a suit is a rook/castle

and Ace to eight of a suit is moving a pawn

What do you think?

I would like to hear your replys.

It can be very hard I guess. By the way, what happens if you draw a queen and your queen has been taken? Or if it can't be moved because it is surrounded by othes pieces? I'm sure it's very cool, but the rules are gonna need a little adjustments.

So many pawn moves, and I guess you get to pick which knight/bishop to move?

That's the theory and the idea of captures is to go through your deck and remove those cards like the queen capture.

There's a dice chess variant too.  I think if you don't have a legal move you just try more cards until you have a move.

What about ace is the a-pawn, 2 is the b-pawn, 3 is the c-pawn, etc.
