Chess Concepts or Idea of Play by Engr.J Tapel

    Concept of Centralization

If your pieces are centralized, you can dispatch them to the left side as well to the right side of the board and if they are not centralized  they are constricted to some  unimportant square which lessens their  real value and in a case of shuffle of pieces a piece  that is constricted is like a piece down.

    Standing Your Ground

I learned this from Bobby Fischer when I played his games .He seldom retreat or pullback a piece from the third and fourth rank .He may trade pieces just to replace it but still holding the ground.(Bobby Fischer)

Exchanging Pieces of Less use or minimal value

If you exchange your piece that has less use or no value(inactive) .It’s an instant advantage specially if that piece is exchange with an already developed piece of the opponent .Your position becomes stronger and your opponent weaker.(Garry Kasparov)

    Mastering Basic Principles of Chess

Basic principles must be first known and fully understood before you even try to bend them.(Tigran Petrosian).

    Endgame Winning Strategy

In the endgame .Analyze the winning move or winning chances of your opponent .Make a move that would spoil his chances to win .If he can’t win his position it becomes draw or lose situation  while your position becomes draw and win situation.(Jose Raul Capablanca).
