Thanks for the post De40. At the bottom of the screen is a listing for help and support. If you click onto that they may be able to help.
I believe there is a district in Cornwall known as Bulgaria.
(Okay, I just made that up.)
--- Thanks for the posts.
One can have a lot of fun with names. For example how many people living in New York would even know that there is a city in the UK called York ?
Sir, I began memorizing GM games as part of my training and I have most definitely noticed I am more alert, and able to just think faster. I remember the '72 championship very well. Take care and good luck to you.
I can't believe this thread is still alive - at least sort of. I wish you kids would finally get that tournament started (unless of course it came and went when I wasn't looking.) For crying out loud, all we get is promises. I'd do it myself if I wasn't so dam (scared of the censors) old.
I can't believe this thread is still alive
What happened a few months ago was there was a little competition to revive old threads amongst a few people late at night. People never cottoned on to this and carried on posting on this thread..amusing in a chess.com trollish sort of way....

--- Thanks for the post Sir and the good wishes. Glad to hear that things are going well for you with the memorization. In my case I spent part of my childhood in Germany and now I'm trying to improve my understanding of the German language.
There is even a town called York here in Western Australia (97km east of Perth)
--- Thanks for the info Kco. I had my Atlas handy here today and looked it up, yes one can indeed learn something new every day lol.

Interesting, cabby -- I hope you've had no trouble figuring out that You, unlike JFK (whose speech writers did him a Huge disservice), are Not "a Pastry." ;-D

--- Hello Motherinlaw, Thanks for the new post. Yes as I am from the southern part of Germany I'm definitely not a " Berliner " lol. If I were a pastry I would be a Black Forest Chocolate Cake. However over the years I've often been called a " Dummkopf " for some reason ( Hey not everybody can be an Einstein ).
