I'm doing a science fair project on chess. I'm pitting two versions of the same engine against eachother, with varying degrees of drawishness. I chose to use Crafty as the engine, and am using Winboard to play them.

I have set everything up so that one Crafty engine can play against a GNU chess engine, so I know that part is fine. However, when I attempt to use 2 unmodified Crafty engines to play eachother, it crashes on me. Does anyone have an idea why? Or do you know another engine with which I can modify the drawscore easily and play itself?
