OK,I am sharing my experience ,first of all i am no pro i am just an intermediate player.Problem with me was that i was very impulsive player and failed to see two or three moves ahead ,i practised tactics a lot than improved my game considerabily and when i quit chess for few days and when i restarted playing chess i failed to visualize ,although i remember strategy against common openings but i was making moves first than thinking eventually lost a lot of games than frustrated i realised my problem i wasnt able to calculate moves in my head,i lacked concentration . i wanted to win games and avoid blunders so i start using chess board making moves for both my opponent and myself while playing online i calculated variation on board and improved my game,i wanted to get rid of board so before  calculating variations on board i forced myself to think i failed initially but slowly slowly i started seeing moves although still didnt get rid of board but i played some awesome moves get advantage pretty easily, intermediate games are mostly about getting rid of blunders and making forcing moves .

If anyone have suggestions please share

I experienced a big improvement in my chess results when I learned to make a habit out of:

1) solving lots of tactical puzzles (including common endgames).

2) trying to imagine what threats the opponent could create if he/she could make several moves in a row to create a "dream position" (even though it's my turn).

3) systematically examining all of my "strong moves" (checks and captures) on every turn.

Visualwize is helpful I think, I bought the PDF files of a print-version of it (same training method) and started to train with it recently, with interesting results after a couple of weeks (the improvement seem to work for calculation in long time control games, not blitz/bullet). Also the chess board that one uses for visualisation training seems to play a big role. One board is easier to visualize/calculate than another, the 10ply tasks are easy on one and hard on another, but maybe it's just me. So i searched a lot on the internet for the perfect chess board, took me many days and hours till found what i was looking for. It costs over 300 $, was produced in Italy for a while and is not available anymore in German chess stores. Found it in USA amazon sellers, but they didn't want to ship it to Europe. At the end I found one shop in Austria, that still had a couple of that sets left. Waiting for it now to arrive. Hope it will work like expected.

Which chessboard did you buy?
