lol Vic.... well come to think of it..
I do play a strong opening.... but my middle game can sometimes be like Russian Roulette!
I believe people with average intelligence can eventually learn to play chess at a high level. People with a high IQ seem
to learn faster.
LOLZ, well, if it doesn't require good intelligence, I can teach a monkey to win against you~ depends on the time it will take~
You get what I mean~?
I don't want to be offensive but sometimes, some people are good at tactics, but for people with a slower mine, they just think slower and have harder time on understanding things (like some people in my math class). Yes chess doesn't require much intelligence but they will need the intelligence to understand this game~
Sounds like me! I am a qualified staff nurse, I have a degree in computers so I must have some intelligence. But ..... I also have Narcolepsy (a sleep disorder) which means my brain works just that bit slower than everyone else's. At the moment I don't play any games shorter than 15 minutes cos I can't think fast enough - yet. I also find my chess is repetitive in that I am repeatedly thrashed. But that is how I learn. Even my game is slowly improving.
P.S. can you get me a game against the monkey? I might have a chance of winning!
The way Ive been playing lately,,,I would loose against the monkey as well...lol
You and me both!
