Chess Magnet School vs. Chess Mentor

  I am trying to decide between joining Chess Magnet School or buying Chess Mentor. I would like to know your opinions on each...thank you.

I think you should check if the stand alone Chess Mentor is as updated as the one offered here

The Chess Mentor stand alone isn't as updated as the online version here.  There are at least 12 new courses beyond the deluxe $200 stand alone version.  Also the stand alone doesn't provide ratings and is lacking a few other features.  However, for beginners and novices the basic $40 version and the comprehensive $80 version can provide an excellent training tool for a number of years without having to continue to pay $$$. 

The Chess Magnet school definititly doesn't provide the features that Chess Mentor does, especially for more advanced students, but the price is a bargain.
