I am wanting to purchass a chess program and I was going to buy Chessmaster 900 at Walmart today for 10 dollars, but it won't work for Windows Vista.

I just logged on today for the first time in a few months because of college and I saw the banner for Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition. Is this the most current edition of Chessmaster? If not, what edition should I buy?

Thank you for your responses!

yes its an updated version, 11th edition, although its not called that, supposed to come out any day now. you can pick up 10th edition at best buy for 19.95. its worth every penny, very good tutorials!online feature too. great deal... or you can wait about a week or so and get grandmaster edition, but itll be at least 29 bucks

I like Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4. Are those good games for chess strategies.
