    @ #8 lol, that would be a nice avatar. With just the face in the small version.

    I like #9. Don't know if I understand it at all though. I feel it's more about the girls (and especially the one on the left) than about chess as such. What's with the cluttered pieces, gives a sense of unclarity for lack of a better word. Maybe because she is a young woman. Some of the pieces are people. She may be confused about the society of adults and such. Both girls are holding a white rook, whatever that means. This painting is a bit mysterious, I guess that's why I like it.
