Hey,

I was wondering if there is any software for making chess puzzles that you can complete. The creation and solving of the puzzles would be just like those here at chess.com available on the forums. Does anyone know of any software, free or otherwise, that can do that? I'm pretty sure you can't save the ones from here and download them to your computer or anything. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Yes, but I want software that allows me to create the puzzles and then solve them. Sorry if I was unclear about that.

Well, I'm not trying to be rude or anything, just curious, but if you were the one to create the puzzles, wouldn't you know how to solve them?

Technically Yes. My plan is to create puzzles where I take positions from my games where I made a blunder, mistake, etc. and revisit it a few weeks later to see if I have truly learned from it by making the correct move in the puzzle. Also, once I amass a large enough library of puzzles, I doubt I will remember them all and will constantly review them in hopes of improving on my faults. Anyways, I have not found such a program yet and was wondering if anyone knows of any software or other methods that helps to accomplish this goal.

Chessbase allows you to designate certain positions as "training positions" which stop the notation and ask you to select a move.  Of course, you have to research and insert the proper moves and assign values to them, but you can do this with any good engine, and several older engines are included with the program.

It isn't free, though!

I have Fritz 5.32, does it do anything like that? If so, how do I set that up?
