Chessbase light won't install

I just started taking lessons and my teacher is sending me chessbase files. The problem is I can't view them because chessbase won't install. I've tried installing on six different computers and it always installs halfway and then stops saying it can't install.

    Anyone have any ideas?

All of these computers are windows XP and I'm in South Korea though I'm not sure why that would make any difference.

    Thanks,

    John

If you're trying to install on that many machines and it's not working, it sounds like something is wrong with the installation file. Are you downloading a fresh one from each machine for each install? That might be something to try.

In Settings - Control Panel - Regional and Language Options, change the default input language and the language for non-unicode programs to English, and see if it will install then.  After the install is finish, you can change those settings back to Korean.

That's probably it. The problem is all these computers are in Korean and I can't speak Korean.  I'll try to get a Korean to help me with it. Thanks.
