What would little chess partner's rating be on here and can it be beat
Patzer24
http://support.chess.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=690 for the estimated rating of the computer. And of course the computer can be beaten, however it does require you to find good moves.
SilverBirch
Maybe it should be randomly entered into some tournaments now and then :)
I think that would be quite a novelty ....

I've been wondering the same thing. I'm about 2-50 on medium, and 12-50 on easy. So it can be beat, just not easily.
I checked the estimated ratings of "lil chess partner" and it's supposedly 1200 on easy but I can beat a 1200 human alot more easily than the damn computer!

Me too! I guess it makes less blunders than a human but it doesn't make any advanced moves either
Baseballfan
Actually, on easy, I've seen it make blunders. The way it's made "easy" is that it makes a move after a set period of time (1 second). So, if the best move it finds in that time is still a really bad move, it will just go ahead and make it. It doesn't always make blunders, but I have seen it hang minor pieces, etc.
