I see this is now being advertised on the main "play" page on the site but I can't find it in the app store. Has it been released? If not, is there a release date for it?

It is no out yet. They submitted it to Apple a few days ago. I would look for it in the coming weeks.

Wouldn't that be handy information to include with the ad?

Any info as to whether it supports offline Chess Mentor (for my London Underground commute)?

That would put it head and shoulders above other chess apps.

Any guess on how long it'll take Apple to review and release?

Erik, I have a question! It isn't particularly pressing, but I'm interested.

Do you think it would be eventually possible to put Chess.com TV in the iPhone app? The reason I ask, shows are currently almost all directed around a Western American timezone and therefore, they are either while I am asleep, or while I am out at college or similar (but during my long breaks). This occurs around 80% of the time. (Thankfully, Loomis' show at least is at a reasonable time.)

    What do you think?

Forgive me if this has been requested before - any chance of the app being ported for the google android platform?

There are many new smartphones being readied for launch during the holiday season and the majority of them are android based!
