With all the talk about memberships and grandmasters and blah blah blah, i just want to say that I think Chess.com is the best thing to happen to chess on the interent. No other site has gotten me interested in chess again like Chess.com. Truely a great site with a great design that makes it easy to play and learn. So many options on how YOU want to play chess. Live? Turn based? Games that take 5 months? Its all here!

This is my favorite site to play at, I like how it records all your games. Thats pretty nice for not having a paid membership.

Yes, I totally agree. I think all people that use and enjoy this site should pay the monthly/yearly subscription to make sure that it stays online. I would be really sad if it was taken off. Name a better chess site....there isn't one!

I think they are best in some areas of what they do.

After running away from Yahoo I can't say enough about it. 

When I compare my experience on yahoo it is baffling how much more pleasant the players on this site are and the respect they have for the game.

INDEED.People on this site really respect and like and enjoy chess.If I had access to the internet at home,I would be a paying member.The exchange of comments on every aspect of the game is one of the features I enjoy.
