Interesting to see how long you guys last. I don't want to be pessimistic, but if you're giving Houdini an entire day to think on its move, I predict white will be lost in under 25 moves.

@gabrielconroy Houdini will be thinking only over night. I would have shortened it but I want good results and not a quick think and I need my computer during the day. However, about 9 hours on average is sure to be very strong, chess.com is going to have a tough time for sure.

Tbh, I think it would probably win quite comfortably if it only had five minutes per move.

I've never fought a grizzly bear either....

9 hours is rather short, almost blitz. Is that enough for the illusionist ?

im not sure deacon21, I havent kept up with the rating. Usually the creators overestimate it with something like 3300

Just wanted to make sure it has a chance considering our bullet proof opening repertoire (1. a3 .. etc.). I hate to see chess engines losing.
