Fixed.
lol. Houdini's time control is set to 1 hour 30 minutes for 40 moves, he only took about 2 minutes on c5. So he wont be thinking for 9 hours (lol) so our chances has risen incredibly. I think we have as much chance as Carlsen vs the World, if not more
no, that was Scottrf. I believe with the time control shortened that we do have a chance, more so than in the famous Carlsen vs the World matches. But again it depends on how many players choose to participate in this
not really. the first move got about 15 votes, the second hasnt gotten as much, but of course a lot of people are at work/school at this time of day or just hasnt been on. hopefully since we will be posting in this every day a lot of people will get interested. Anyways, its sure to be a fun experience any way we go!
i'm signing off for a bit, so votes won't be counted for a while, but when I get back on all votes will be added to the Original Post

looks like c3 is overwhelming Nf3. not what i expected, curious to see how this game goes. I honestly have never played a game on either side with this move

2. Ke2, it is strong if we can set up a solid pawn wall with our pieces in a double fianccetto system with both our knights on c3/f3, plus it would be chess.com style to do it.
double fianchetto systems usually have a hard time controlling the center
yes but they are hard to pick apart, so once we get there we make a bunch of slow king/ Rook moves, and we wait for a mistake and win, or we draw when we get 50 move ruled
wait for a mistake and win? dude you are playing houdini you cant just "wait for a mistake"
yes, but in a positional game we will inevitably get to a fifty move rule/threefold position
i doubt you could get that far without exchanging pieces against houdini

What about f4?
the Mcdonnell attack? never seen that one
It's usually called the Grand Prix.
I'm sold. Can I change my vote to Ke2 from Nf3.
actually in game exploror its called the Mcdonnell
also, a move I was contemplating earlier, I wonder if Bb5 has anything. kind of the reversed position of that line in the dutch, 1.d4 f5 2.Bg5
