I dont really feel like I would be one to do any voting , but I really want to know how all of this turns out. Good luck.

    thanks :)

so why dont everyone explain why they chose what they did? this could be a crucial decision

I think that you should have made that a manditory prerequisite for posting a vote. This would help you make the best decision if casting the deciding, as well as, it would help others to reason through the process of voting, to help ensure the group agrees what the best vote actually is. I would try if I were able to set up a board in my house and keep track of the moves better for study, but unfortunately I can't. I think if you keep trying at this, you'll eventually refine the process and make an awesome challenge to Houdini. I also recommend that you seek out a GM confidant, who knows what you are trying to do, who would be willing to study crucial positions to help you.

Great minds think alike. I'll give you credit for a great idea first, that gave birth to a necessity, thereby mothering my invention.

so Re3 is at 4 and Nc5 is at 3... which do you guys think is better? this is a critical decision

    Re3

This is not very deep analysis, but I think the knight is doing fine on b3. He protects the littlepawnstructure we got. And what is it going to do on c5? Not much I think.. getting traded off for a bishop?

    I don't like Nc5. Rc7 and a later Rac8 and Nc5 looks bad.

I don't think Nc5 is a blunder, but I think Re3 is better, swinging the rook to a more active position, I vote Re3. I reckon after nc5 rc7 we got problems, we'd have tried to put the knight on a good square too early and we'll probably end up with a far-advanced c-pawn (after Bx) which will become a target later on and might be difficult to defend.

Re3 threatens to double up on the open c-file, Nc5 blocks it for us.

ok well Re3 seems to overwhelm Nc5 so ill release the move soon
