Hi. How long has this website been in existence? How many members does it have? Who are the longest serving members? Just curious!

I think it started in April or May of 2007. It has over 88 thousand members so far, from countries all over the world. I'm not sure of the oldest member; I'm sure it's erik, or another member of the staff. . .

Erik (the site owner) posted about building chess.com. I'll give you this link and hopefully it'll work. If it does not work, search members for Erik. Then go to his content bit - and put 'building chess.com' into it. It'll come up with about 15 parts. There might be some stuff of interest for you there.

me uhhhh about 5 months

and i have heard of e-mail chess it is where you email ur move to the other person they make the move on their board and then they send you their move

now there are a huge number of members.. & it is growing.. we all are loving it..
