Folks, I live in Bucktown/Wicker Park area of Chicago and wondering if anyone would like to get together for some chess at some time in the future.  The Bucktown area library is a good location, but there are also some great cafe's to look into as well.

Reach out and let's make it happen.

Hey greersome I live in Wrigleyville and wouldnt mind meeting up for a game of chess. Nothing beats playing over a real board and I don't really get much of that. Let me know!

Cool!  I'd like that.  I have a close friend who is soon to join this site.  He has started getting lessons and plays a lot.

Maybe we could all get together and play/discuss chess.  Wow!!  We have three!  See if we can find some more.

BTW, I have been studying at times at the Lincoln Park library on Fullerton.  They have a study room.  We could meet there some time to play.
