I resently became addicted to chess and am now looking to inprove my skills, (or lack there of) so i have been looking for a coachlong, story short the lowest price i could get was $50 an hour......i think that expanciv but what do i know.....any way its not evan face to face so i'm like thinking is it evan worth it?
if any one haas had a coach befor i would like to know if it was worth the time and money
I have had mentors who gave me pointers here and there, but most of my learning came from chess books and good old fashioned screwing up then analyzing the games and writing what i learned untill i learned not to screw up so much lol. I do believe a good coach is worth their weight in gold so to speak. Just look at the top class players i havnt heard of one that hasnt got a coach yet....
P.S. The last time i coached was school kids 5yrs ago hahahahaha....
