Creating a game

Im still getting the hang of this site and I was wondering if I could create a game somehow and save it.

This is what I mean, a friend of mine plays an email based chess with me. We had a fun game and wanted to keep a visual version of it. It gives us the ...well im not sure what the specific term for it is but the code for the game. (Nb3) kind of thing. Is there a way on this to make and save a visual verson of the game.

Im really not sure the best way to say this.

I want to make this (Down Below). Into a board where you can go back and forth between each move and such, or just flip through the game. If someone is fast at this and makes me one thats great. Im not looking for any hand outs though. If Im pointed in the right direction I can try and put it together myself.   Thanks in advance and please, no worries on analyzing this game. I am not very good and neither is my friend compared to players on here, we just like to play the game, we still make plenty of stupid moves. :)  As he did when he lost his queen.

I believe you can on the chess but you have to do the moves all over again

I'm not that sure because I'm new as well

Yeah, I figured I would have to program in all the moves over again.

Its just a better way for me to see the game. I can't see the moves in my head just by reading the notation of each move.

Yes its for sure possible to create this, but since you dont have this in a pgn-file you have to put in every move by yourself, and that will take some more time, but is still possible.
