we all know that kramnik was kasparov's team mate earlier and kasparov was the one who help kramnik to be put as "second" in rusia long ago, and I guess Kasparov's blunder in their 10th game of their braingames world championship match was so obvious, the mighty kasparov can not blunder that much. I think that kasparov intended to lose againts kramnik because he would soon retire and wanted to give the thrown to a person close to him. what u think?

I think Kasparov does not care who wins the title, just so long as entertaining chess is played.

Maybe it is not that he meant to throw it. Maybe he saw his career as over, that he had nothing left to prove, and that he did not mind losing to his mate and countryman. Just a more positive spin on the same theory.

Maybe when he realized he didn't have a chance at the end of the match he decided to purposely throw the games away to try to make people believe he lost on purpose, but I doubt that Kasparov was very happy about losing the title...

thrown is what i did to a ball, throne is what a king sits on, and what kramnik was to be given by kasparov
