    This is probably one of the most frustrating a stupid draws ever — of course it was by repetition. 

    Who would not fall to the temptation of a rook?

    Strong play means checking what your opponent's threats are before choosing a move every turn.  This sounds simple to do, but the hard part is doing it every time over the course of a game.

    This is a good example.  You saw a "free" rook, but didn't check if it was indeed free.  It turned out the rook was not free, and you only have yourself to blame :)

    Yes, it does... Perhaps I became overconfident, in fact, and did not spent any time to think. Thanks for the comments
