Drop outs disconnects

Sort:

I have been using Microsoft Explorer to play chess on chess.com and MSN games. I got lots of dropouts on MSN and a few on chess.com. For a while I thought some oponents has a secret hack because it seemed to happen more when I had a won game. THe drop outs seemed to increase reacently. My wireless is weak so I thought that was the problem. I am not sure because sometimes I can play for hours without a problem. My last session I switched to Chrome and had no dropped games, maybe 5 or 6 games. I got a system flame saying I was disconnecting intentionally. Not so, on chess.com my screen goes to a pale shade sometimes reconnecting sometimes not.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Try playing on a hard wired connection just once if possible and see if there's any difference, and/or figure out how to get a better wireless connection. Or start using a hard-wired connection whenever possible, I don't see how it couldn't improve your connectivity.

Stick with Chrome or Firefox not IE. Read my blog and the article below it. Contact the staff directly via Help & Support if nothing below helps and you keep on having problems
