Something that has come to my attention is that this is the best place to play chess on the internet, and beside this the place many times becomes a rucus because of players that have nothing better to do.

I have to admit that the place is great, i wont leave either you answer my posts or this forum. But please there are things in this page that just annoy potential premium buyers, premium players, and a huge amount of not-premium players that think that "first", "second" and other such posts, ar annoing.

Now concerning the puzzles, i appreciate, i think like most chess.com users, that you can post a puzzle every day. But sometimes its just time consuming to get into the link for the puzzle and find such easy puzzles. I understand that any player should have the opportunity to participate in solving them, but this is not just sunday's. Somedays their realy easy to, and im not talking about difficulty for good players, im talking about that the average player finds them easy.

Staff of chess.com please make a standard for the puzzles, and instead of proggresivly increase their difficulty through the week, just post one really hard on saturday and one easy on sunday. I know that there is a forum for posting your own puzzles, you should take more attention there. Some of them are good. I have a bunch of books, that i could use to post puzzles for the page, like many players i think.

And by the way why dont you make the stupid posts with numbers in them SPAMMM, many times they have no relevant content, and annoy other users, like me :D. I dont know write a new policy about this.

i think you should be very happy that your largest concern is that the daily puzzles are not at the level that you personally deem the proper difficulty (do you notice how this can be a problem since there are many different people with different playing levels).

i also don't understand why people keep complaining about the comments for the daily puzzle. yes i think it's stupid to post "first" "second" etc. but if it bothers you so much then just don't read the comments. is it really that difficult to ignore comments that you don't like? just because they bother you doesn't mean they are spam.

yes i know. that is why you should simply ignore them (as opposed to arguing that comments that you personally disagree with should be labelled as spam)

SIXTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok just kidding, but seriously if the puzzles are easy to you, as most are to me, then there is so reason to EVER read the comments END OF STORY.  It's almost like you intentionally annoy yourself so much as to have some sort of reasonable complaint.  Just do not look at them and the problem is solved.  Usually on hard puzzle days people post FIRST SECOND THIRD or EASY less often, so you shouldnt' be as annoyed on saturdays and fridays.

Trigs, what if each person just comes into a forum, see the last post, and then post the correspinding number to their post, and then more players start doing the same, soon you'll have hundreds of posts that say anything, and that encourage other users to do the same. Wouldnt that be spam then?

Your right in the fact that i kind of annoy myself, but the fact that people come to a forum and write the number of their post is annoing only because it provokes others in doing so, and that if everybody did youd have a mediocre forum where it would be difficult to find relevant information, about the actual forum, filling the forums non-stop, with stupid information.

What if you or i start filling the posts with the correspondent number. It would be kind of stupid...

The ``numbered'' posts are definitely not as annoying as motorcycle's posts =P

What i have to say is, this isn't the only forum with problems.Spam is everywhere on the net and so we all have to get used to it , personally what I do is just think spammers are idiots and ignore them.

Your right. If you ignore them theyll probably go away. But the point is not that, the point is that more attention should be giving to this, as to eliminate this kind of posts, so that forums dont become chaotic. And it is possible to eliminate these posts, if the policy of the page says something about this.

i almost never see spammers in the "educational and interesting" posts, maby the spam is simply related to the reading content:

easy puzzle = SPAM

The evolution of chess since 1886 = wise, witty and enjoyable comments

just try to read more enjoyable items on the site.

Ok so turning to the other subject.

Wouldnt you want that the puzzle difficulty had a standard, and that the only days it varied were saturdays really difficult and sundays easy?

i do not understand what you are saying. are you suggesting that people are just writing the number of their post for absolutely no reason other than to simply write the number of their post?

people write "first" "second" etc. in the order that they solved the puzzle (again, i think it is dumb, but at least that's a legitimate reason). labelling such posts as spam simply because you disagree with their reason for commenting or that such posts annoy you seems very problematic in my opinion. where can you draw the line? any "repeat" posts that annoy someone can be labelled as spam now?

Trigs, look what im saying is that to post the number corresponding to your comment is spam because it has no relevance to the forum. If everybody just comes and posts their corresponding number wouldnt it fill the forum with unwanted posts? and then so, if one can do it what prevents that the rest do so to?

Man believe me its not spam because it bothers me, its spam because nobody would want their forums filled with just stupid commentaries, and that is what numbering posts is; stupid, irelevant and space taking.

And by the way lets get the forum back to the other matter. Wouldnt you want that the puzzle difficulty had a standard, and that the only days it varied were saturdays really difficult and sundays easy?

I think that access to unlimited puzzles in the tactic trainer is ample enough reason to buy a membership.
