Who are the chess players that play easy to understand moves? unlike GM shirov. thanks
fissionfowl
If you're just talking about current players, very few from what I've seen. From the past greats, Morphy, Capablanca and Fischer are 3 I can think of.

Smyslov is pretty easy to understand, from the few games I've played through.

Well, all GMs have a fantastic depth of play -- but if you mean moves that on the surface seem logical then any positional player like karpov, petrosian, smyslov, spassky, possibly korchnoi and somewhat fischer. Out of the current top 10 players kramnik and somewhat carlsen.
