Elo FIDE (International Rating)

    Hi guys!

I play chess in a club, near my home. I stopped playing for a coupple of years, and now i'm back.

At the moment the rating that i have is the National Elo (from Portuguese Chess Federation - FPX), and i'm trying to get to the International Elo (from FIDE).

I know that i have to play against 9 players that already have international Elo, even if i face them in different tournaments. My only question is, do i need to make 1 point in each 3 games ( wich means 3 points in 9 games) or does 0.5 points in each 3 games (wich means 1.5 points in 9 games) is enough?

I already achieved a block (3 games) and i made 2 points/3, but i need another two blocks and i'm about to achieve a second block - 0.5 points /3.

Do anyone here know the exact rules to obtain Elo FIDE?

    Thanks

thanks, but i've already looked at that article, and the point 7.14a i already knew, the 9 mininum games, but i still don't know the minimum points in that 9 games.

Assume that i play 9 games and loose 9 games, therefore  i dont get the Elo FIDE. There has to be a minimum points in that 9 games

I don't think your guess of three points is correct.

Suppose as a 2000 strength but unrated player, I play eight GM's and lose every game (as expected) and then scrape a draw against an FM in the ninth (reasonable). I would almost certainly be a better player than the 1200 rating floor but I only scored 0.5/9.

I think you have to have at least one win in at least nine games, and there is a time limit from the first to the last.

i know that i have to play a minimum of 9 games, within a maximum period of 2 years, since the first game.

the only question is the minimum points i have to do. does anyone here that plays otb knows the minimum points?
