Hey guys. I have both Fritz 10 and Chessmaster GM edition. I haven`t really used them as much as i maybe should have done, so i am not familiar with all the fancy stuff these programs can do...The question i have is this: Is there a way to get a estimated elo-strenght of my play in Fritz 10 or CM? Like playing a game against the engine and then get a rating or elo-estimate from the program?
PS: I know that the best way to get an accurate elo-rating is by playing rated OTB-tournaments:)

You could play your Fritz 10 versus your Chessmaster GM and see who wins. :)

In CM you can play in ranked (rated) mode which allows you to play a bunch of pre-rated opponents. Depending on whether you win or lose, CM will recommend another opponent within your skill range. Keep on playing to get a general idea of your ELO.
This won't give you a pin point accurate ELO but it will give a good range where you fall within.

Jeg har spilt mot CM med rated spill og min rating på CM virker som den er omtrent 300 mindre en ratingen min på chess.com. Lykke til!
