Just a note to all members of the Dream Team, if you enjoy being a member, and reading all the info as I did, then dont disagree with the bosses, under the pre-tex that you are disrupting the group, they will ban you for having an opinion, so swallow your pride, and follow the herd. I will not answer any posts in this forum, this is for information only.

I left TDT on my on grain, I enjoyed my stay and meet very good people there, I left because I did not like the way one Aminstrator was treating his members, he made Hitler look innocent!
Its a very good group, but each one to his one!

While it's clear, given the number of people involved, that not everyone in the group is deserving of some castigation, the slander being directed at their initial creator is. He's fascistic, self-aggrandizing, and pathetically fragile.
While I think that the "Dream-team" is laughable (can anyone say that with a straight face? "Yes I'm a proud member of the DREAM TEAM. We're sooooo dreamy and self-congradulatory!") I suppose it involves too many members to really take pot shots at.
Word to the wise - if you want to be involved with his latest attempt, join THESAILORS. The "leader" (and you'll note how explicite he is about being the "leader" in the description) of the group is CaptainEgo (I mean CaptainJoe, oops). The Dream Team became slightly too wide in membership for him to micromanage the way he'd like, so he's giving it another shot and starting from scratch.
Is it true that TDT is gonna get rid of everyone under 1300?

No. As in the Dream Team description, we are the group for all the chess players who want to learn chess. We have opened many team matches for the players of all levels.
The Dream Team has many good people. Although our leader made some mistakes, we are still trying to give him a chance to be a good person in the future.
BTW, thegab03, nice to hear some true words from you! You are a nice guy.
Does he still have you blocked, Shelly?
Lol...

I'm sorry, I do not understand. Not completely familiar with the whole group thing yet. How is one group is bad or good, or that the group leader pisses people off? I am a member of the Spartan group and have no idea who is admin or anything from anything. Are some groups ran differently. Does the dream team has secret internet meetings where the leader bullies everyone around? Please someone explain this to me please.
... did you just accuse me of drinking coffee and socializing? Oh, snap.
Look, I'd love to trade insults with you, and we can if you like, but you've done such a good job of showing people who you really are as that I hardly think I need to point out what people already see clearly for themselves.
But hey, I have a long day at work ahead and I'm sure it would cure some of the tedium to highlight your immaturity for others.
Do your worst, Dal.

I think you are referring to the secret Dream Team Apprentice Program. I will share with you what they do there--out of sight of most of chess.com.
Players who join the program are regularly beaten by higher-rated played in games of chess. As if this weren't enough of a hit to their ego, the higher-rated player then explains in an oh-so-friendly way why they lost so that they might improve their chess game.
