Once you lose the queen, we expect nothing less of course that such a strong team gracefully resigns. Wink

So, the French Defense Fanatics beat you guys too.  Just because you have played more games than everybody else does not mean that you guys are the best vote chess team.  The FDF has won all of their vote chess games.  We just have not played very many.  Also, looking back on the TPOC vote chess archives, I have noticed that the higher rated players just tell the lower ones what moves to play without the explaining of certain concepts.

What team has the average rating of players comparable to ours?

Average top 10: 2624

Average top 50: 2484

Having many matches in progress, most valuable players can not attend to all parties, but if most players would participate in a game against any team, we are sure that we win clear.

Noteworthy that we have many parties in progress and the players are divided on party ... Imagine what it all means to participate - we win every game detached.

Well done to the Power of Chess for being the number one most active group.

If only in real life was I awarded 5 points for beating someone of any standard, and lost no points for losing, I too would play as many games as I could and may even be the highest rated player in the world!

I think the vote team rating system needs to be based on the quality of opponent you beat and not just the quantity, similar to every other chess rating system in fact Smile

Yes, even a ladder format would be better than this shotgun rating.

I agree. Teams should start with ratings and have ratings based on other teams they win or lose to.

So, are you holding on to the Cheers! game because you think we will lose on time? Because we have 12 votes, usually unanimous, for each move and we won't lose.

Very nice, indeed, to me Stefan this tells everything about you. The rating is all that matters.

I've also heard that the top player in the top team at chess.com will be automatically awarded a GM norm.

costelus, that's true.  It's a good reason for players to consider becoming the top in their team... whatever the cost.
