This was my first time playing with the semi slav defense questions and comments would be appreciated.

Nice game play Mclovin overall but opening the kingside pawns in the middle game is a risky move in your part. However, white's pieces was out of position and was playing too passively. White should have been more aggressive and made exchanges with the pawns early on to get a better position since you have closed the queenside with the pawns and as a result trapped pretty much of white's pieces at move 11.e4. I enjoyed how you moved all you pieces to attack the black's kingside, which was very vulnerable since all your pieces were actively taking part in the attack and black had no chance to re-organise his pieces and provide any great counter-play :P.

5...Bd6 was inaccurate the main move is Nbd7 since the whole idea of the semi-slav is to play dxc4 b5 bb7 and then activate the bishop with c5. the move 6.c5 from white doesn't seem very good releasing he pressure on blacks center
