Again, your parochialism is astounding.  Just give it a few minute's thought, maybe?  It shouldn't take all that long (you might want to ponder the meaning of the term I'm using first of all).

Why don't you just say what you mean instead of playing games? Scared? Don't have the facts? Sorry; I no longer feel like trying to convince you and others that money is necessary in today's world.

It's funny how you accuse him of being narrow minded and try to falsely accuse me of missing the point, while being wrongfully argumentative for being more open minded about the same subject. Maybe one of these days you'll wake up and realize the world doesn't revolve around your focus and it certainly doesn't unfold as you picture it happening...

"I no longer feel like trying to convince you and others that money is necessary in today's world."

That's not what you've been doing.  You've been trying to convince folks that it's the most important--after truth, I think.

    It ain't.

HAH!  You called me a douche and I didn't even flinch, but I ask you to stay within the confines of the debate and you feel threatened as an adult?  You may want to stop having conversations beyond asking mummy for extra helpings of pudding, I'd venture.

No, once again you misunderstood and falsely accussed me of something...I didn't call you a douche...I merely mentioning your capacity to behave like one...and you still keep proving me right...the sad thing is you still don't get it...

This is so delightful, I kind of want to print and frame it.

@chesspool, you do realise that the U.S. healthcare system is unique in this world, right?

Once again you misunderstood what the debate was...it wasn't defined solely by you...you were also making the same mistake of thinking somehow do or you should have the right to control me...this also ties directly to my next point. You are so young and inexperienced I don't feel threatened by you, you just fail to realize I am old enough to be your father and it would be counter productive for me to put my self in subjection to your rhetoric, it is also condescending on your part, but you'll learn how to control that in time, hopefully if you really plan to have any meaningful relationships...BTW...learn a new big word and use it some...your vocabulary sucks...

I'm positively peeved at your petulant pontifications!

...actually I'm not, I don't care, but it seemed funny to say so anyway.  I can't even put into words how hilarious that last statement is, especially considering how turgid all of your rhetoric has been thus far.

Let's work through the equivalency here, step-by-step:

    1. Grobe makes statement

    2. nameno1 responds to said statement with different point entirely

    3. Grobe points out nameno1 misses the point

    4. nameno1 claims he's just thinking about something deeper

    5. I point out nameno1 is being rude in doing points 2 & 4 without announcing his intentions of doing so (it's common conversational courtesy)

    6. nameno1 says I'm acting like a douche and also threatening him as an adult

    7. I laugh and laugh and laugh

You were being exceptionally rude, and if you think you can accuse me of being condescending, then I can certainly accuse you of that.  And I'm doing just fine with my relationships, thank you very much, as I usually go into conversations with my friends/loved ones presuming them to be equals.

Try not argue with idiots, because disinterested parties won't be able to tell the two of you apart.  Thanks be to the Lord.  Laughing

I was merely pointing out me putting my two cents into a conversation that I obviously wasn't welcome in. I usually am not, but you totally missed that I don't care. I don't need anyone's permission to say what I think. You missed that I wasn't trying to argue, I was simply giving food for thought.

You have certainly treated me as if my attempts at adding any thoughts to a conversation had to meet with your approval (condescending). You also treated me as if you knew what I was thinking, when you clearly didn't and thus have made an ass of yourself in the process and to cover your tracks, have continually tried convince me how wrong I was for simply contributing my thoughts to a few people having a conversation (more condescention). You still really expect me to believe the lies you have convinced yourself of ?

Ok I'll do you the favor you have failed to do for me. I'll simply look at you as an inexperienced, cocky young man that thinks he is ready to outsmart the wisdom of his elders. I'll look at you as one who believes his own delusions of granduer, instead of giving you credit for being that much of an evil genuis and liar as to concoct such a bunch of lies to try to make me out to be first of assuming, belittling, socially inept, and no where near worthy of the same conversation as you and your contemporaries.

It is amazing in ones delusions how high the elevate themselves simply through their prejudices and pomp...

Quoted just in case you go back and fix your obvious spelling mistakes.  Because they're really funny.

(Plus the fact it barely makes sense, but then we know to expect that from you anyway)

No, you weren't.  Please think this through: you said something mostly unrelated to what TheGrobe said, and then when he pointed out this, you claimed (with incredible condescension, I should add), that you had thought it over more than he had.  Please, think it through.

That is because, it is generally difficult to adequately describe the behavior of another that, in and of itself, doesn't make make sense...

Dude...you really think you can didctate to me what I was thinking at that moment?...I was simply trying to get everyone who was weighing in on the subject of to live with money or without being better, to consider their options a little more closely. I didn't even say what I thought was better for people...you are one of the most assuming people I have ever met...

Since ol' netzach expressed an interest, here it is:

Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

All I said was money was necessary for life's necessities in today's world. The fact that presumably educated people think that is a debatable statement led me right to The Good Book, which, as always, is the best source for wisdom and guidance.

Cheerio, forum debaters. It's been fun:)

PS to ol' netter: Might want to think twice about who and what you mock. Your self-professed 137 IQ really ain't that impressive (or believable) in the grand scheme of things
