Ok, so after something like six years of playing the noble game, I’m still rubbish at chess. I don’t know openings, I don’t know endgames and I’m sloppy and unimaginative. Despite spending DAYS on moves, I can’t break 1600 on chess.com.

I had considered the idea that I’m just a naturally weak player, but there’s nowt but despair down that road.

So, to prevent my imminent loss of sanity, I am prepared to pay (MONEY, people) for some one-to-one chess training. I need a trainer, hopefully titled, in the English westcountry (or over the internet if a geographically convenient trainer is unavailable) who I can get lessons from.

Any chess coaches/recommendations would be much appreciated.

RSVP.

ED.

Have u considered paying ur money to upgrade ur membership instead? at least then u have all the video lessons by NM and above, not to mention chess-mentor. Try it for a year and see if it helps ur chess if not then seek a coach elsewhere what do u think?

First we'd need a game to see what you are having trouble with, then I'll see if I can help, then we can discuss frequencies and rates :)

Rainbow Rising, I challenge thee to a duel (which you should hopefully receive shortly).

Ian_Sinclair, or anyone else for that matter, how much is the upgrade? Does it have any other benefits?
