Can any chess.com members from Fort Wayne let me know if they know of chess clubs in the local area?:) I'd really like to join one!

i do know you have 3 time indiana state chess champion FM Jim dean there in fort wayne.also the indiana state high school champ lives there daniel gater.I beleive jim gives lessons i may know how to contact him if your interested.We have a club in kokomo that meets every thursday but thats a heck of a drive.

Well i ended up finding out that some people meet up at the main branch of the Allen County Library Downtown... but it was just two other guys last saturday- tho I did enjoy playing about 20 or so blitz games of chess with them- I'm headed there again this Saturday:) But it wasnt exactly a club lol? ;)

You realize in fort wayne you have 4 time indiana state champion FM jim dean there?Also a very strong junior named Daniel Gater.And i think the indiana state girls champion Emily Tallo lives there as well.From what i understand Dean gives face to face lessons.If you want me to get you some info i can contact some people and find out.I basically know everyone in the Indiana chess scene thats active in tournaments.Do you also know about the US Open coming to indianapolis in August im excited.Especially since i won a free entry by winning the Indiana Class B state championship last weekend.Anyway nice to meet you all my name is Chris im from kokomo.
