What is d difference between blogs and forum

A blog can be made private, so only people on your friends list can see and read it or you can make it public so everyone can see it.. Its where you can put "almost" anything from your thoughts, family photos, or just general stuff that you feel doesn't belong in the forum but that you want to share with your friends.
