Two years is quick to get to 1700?
its a 600 point increase which is very large however a 1700 player is far from someone who should be giving advice except to far weaker players.

no its quite a easy task,when u only concentrate on chess, but playing chess along with engineering(i m a computer science student) and watching lot of american sitcoms i find it quite a difficult thing as many of my friends stuck at 1300s)

This depends on circumstances. My Online rating went up by 1000 (from 1100 to 2100) points in my first year on Chess.Com. I did not improve as a player. Its just the way the rating system works.

From beginner level I'd say definitely yes. How long do you think it regularly takes?
By the way, I think his offer is genuine. If you want to increase your Bullet rating sharply there is a trick or two to do it. I read some before somewhere.

600 points on chess.com isn't that great. Just stop hanging pieces and there we go 300 more points. Next task would be to not miss simple tactics and yay we are at 1700.

In online chess, chess.com blitz is a decent standard.

From 1100 to 1700 blitz is that easy? Must be embarrassing for you to be rated 1500 then
