Hi all......I recently purchased Fritz 11(my 1st Fritz or program of this type) anyway I'm hoping someone can help me.
When I open the Database(the default database, the one with over 1 million games in it) it used to show them by listing the 1st or 2nd move ,ie. 1.e4 e5...etc. and it would also display the ECO numbers. And some of the openings would even listed by name ie. "Silcilian, Scott, English....etc.
The problem is that now it just lists them by the 1st move or two. I know I did something to cause this because I had clicked on "install key" in the "edit" menu.
My question is this......does anyone know how I can get back to the default display? I hope I've explained this well enough....oh,I was going to download the database again off the CD but it stated that the files had already been downloaded and it would not do it again. Help please!

you could always use "factory settings" under the "tool" bar in the menu in these situations. that will reset everyting, including the mistake you've made causing your problem.
