My dad and I get the old chess board out, set up the pieces and play a regular game....BUT the catch is that you have to tell your opponent the strategy, lines, and tactics you are using when you move your pieces.  So pretty much just voice your thoughts and decisions so your opponent knows exactly whats going on.  If you both do this, you will know each others thoughts and are forced to learn from a 'worst case scenario.'  If someone knows your strategies throughout the game, you are forced to come up with 'unbeatble' tactics where it makes no difference if your opponent knows what your up to.

After playing a few games with my dad in this fashion, I have found that it helped me think ahead by more moves than i normally do.  I also have better incite to whats going on and i have uncovered different chess psychologies other than my own.

Give it a shot and tell me if it works for you too! Laughing

i guess the only way to win is to destroy your opponent to a point where it doesn't matter if he knows what you are doing.
