How come everybody always picks on the unprotected pieces?

I think it's a gang -related issue.  The senior members leave the newbs on their own to see how they fare.  If they can last and make it to the other side safely, they become full-fledged members.  Maybe someone should start some sort of safehouse for wayward pieces who want out of the cycle of violence . . .

??? In high school I was one of the bigger guys and always got picked on by the the short shrimp, ended up in those "damned if you do and damned if you don't" situations. I pick on them for revenge. Yell
