Is there a website that you can go to to find out about international GM tournaments? I think it is by a weird string of luck that I have found the tournaments that I did (US Championship and Wijk aan Zee). If you could help that would be great! Thanks

There's also Chessbase, which features reports on international chess's top tournaments and publishes other interesting stuff, and chessdom.com, which features reports on more minor GM tournaments.

Are you looking for live games to follow, interesting games to replay whenever, or more about the culture of chess?

What I am looking for is live games or video annotation of games so I can understand what I am seeing. Along with a calendar of tournaments coming up so I can follow it all the way through.

you can track the latest top tournament games on chessbomb.com (live). Often a GM commentator adds his insight to the games.

One of the strongest tournaments is going on right now!  The Kings Tournament with Carlsen, Ivanchuk, Karjakin, Nakamura, four of the top ten, plus Radjabov @ #14 and local favorite Nisipeanu who is "only" 2662.

The "Live Games" link is on the left, choose a game from the current round or cruise through the previous rounds.

You can follow almost all the top GM tournaments live on monroi.com.  I've done it, and it's fun to watch several games going on at once.
