Hello everyone!

I am fairly new to the site and I noticed there is a Groups and Teams tab, but I don't see a section for it in the forums. So I apologize in advance if this is supposed to go somewhere else.

I would very much like to join a group or team that would play games with me and give some tips. Not sure if that is the purpose for the groups and teams, but if so could someone please point me in the right direction? There are so many different ones, I don't want to become just another number on their list.

I would start by applying to join Team Canada - participate in, or at least observe, their Vote Chess games. Make yourself known and ask the administrators for advice.

@ blerkold - Nice even handed response mate - Touche! Despite the best efforts of Chess.com staff there's always going to be infantile behaviour. The internet attracts all sorts ... but especially the puerile and the cowardly.

Give Team Canada a shot and send a message to "rigamagician" (one of the superadmins) - let him know I referred you and ask for his advice.
