im doing a speech on chess would some1 plz help me wif wat i should and shouldnt put in? thanx
talk about the great players and their feelings ( when they won & when they lost)
talk about the feelings when you play chess.
It would help to know why you are giving the speech, who is your audience, and what it is you want them to get from the speech.
Yeah, know your audience first. Don't give them much more information than they can handle. If it's for your high school class a lot of them probably know very little about chess. Maybe give them a little of its history or how it's much more involved than just how the men move. Idealy, they should want to know more when you're done. You could do that by not burying them with a lot of detail they're not ready for but still letting them know there is a lot more available.
Good luck
Wow, Humphrey Bogart and Jim Nabors advising a kid from New Zealand. Who would have thought?? Golly - play it again, Sam.
they will probly find it boring but i thought i mite say how they move how to win maybe pin, fork and some history
