Help to control???? I guess that sounds weird. How do i get help if what i really want is to manipulate others. Anyway i have been playing since i was a kid but only recently got into theory. Wow what an eye opener it's been too!!!! I guess it is like learning a language, your going, going, going,......... discouraging discouraging, and then one day it starts to make sense. I have studied alot and have gotten little. I don't think it is entirely me though. For instance, when playing some one who knows just enough to be dangerous, not because of "knowledge" of the game but because of innate intuition, it is hard to incorporate the theory I' ve learned, i.e. openings, key squares, flank attacks or center control.........,. It is almost as if they play like a drunk driver would race in the indi 500. It seems that my best bet is to play defensively and on principles, solely, just to counter there crazy unorthodox schemes. It makes it hard to play a bullet game like that. Sometimes I feel playing a high rated player is easier (even if i loose) because of the naturalness in the moves. I have a feeling that this is part of the learning process. Just a post to get some feedback.
