Job: To help sengdao with >>>Studying Chess Masters<<<
How to apply: Post on this saying you're applying
What is >>>Studying Chess Masters<<<? It is a study of a chess master game.
How are you going to help? Giving me some chess master games.
I hope you apply but only the first 20 that apply will be accepted.\
Count me in i like studying master chess games.
Go up to the "More" menu tab at the top of your screen there.
Click on it and then on the drop down menu select "downloads".
Look for "Masters' Games" in the download section.
There's a ton available to download there and they're annotated.
Hope this helps. :-)
Okay, I've done the job.
Provided you all the annotated master's games you could ever need.
So in reality, did the jobs of the 20 others you were hiring for too.
Just take care of my diamond for a year and you can keep the rest you owe for yourself.
Don't spend it all in one place.
Well, I hate downloading so sorry!
No need to be sorry...
I'll do the job of 21 now and you can cover 2 years of my diamond.
Go to ChessGames.com and you don't even have to download.
No excuses! You got what you hired for.
Now pay up!
I did not say 'hire' ! So, you'll be able to study master games at sengdao's forum's, there!
Pretty slick move there Sengdao. And here I was thinking I'd scored an extra income stream... Oh well, you win and lose some.
Sounds good mate.
I am always looking for new master games and also study old historic chess games. So i know many master games. Where is this forum?
Just click my name and click >>>Studying Chess Masters<<<! It's just the grand opening :D
My opinion is it is better to study your games rather than master games. Or anyone else's for that matter. I have it all spelled out in my free video lessons course, linked here on my profile. My group has many support systems in place, that's also linked on my profile. I do have a series on my own games, where I will show, game by game how I developed from a 1400 to a 2200 player. Two of those videos are public and linked in my video lessons fgroup forum.
One piece of advice that will probably do more to raise your rating than any course of study: dump the bullet.
Why do you hate downloading?
Blitz, too. In fact, at lower levels even Rapid (g/25) isn't a help.
Chess is a game of thought and planning. It takes time to learn and to play well. The only reason time limits of any sort were introduced was because some lesser players took advantage and used hours on single moves, hoping to win through attrition.
Fast time controls are fun variants, but they are fun because they are the exact opposite of what the game essentially is, they allow no time to reflect. As mindless entertainment it beats teasing the cat, but is no more likely to improve your understanding of chess.
Because I don't want alot of memory to be taken.
